Enough is Enough: The War on Black Children MUST End NOW
Imagine this was your child.
Footage has surfaced of a South Carolina police officer slamming and dragging a Black child onto her classroom floor.
Regardless of the circumstances, no student deserves this kind of treatment.
Blacks and whites alike have come together to condemn the girls behavior and defend the police officer – even going so far as saying police officer Ben Fields couldn’t be racist because he is sleeping with a Black woman (seriously. That was said).
This one incident exposes the nature of our relationship to white supremacy in the United States. We continue to allow our own children to be victimized by a system that has decomposed the Black psyche to the point where we will side with our enemy.
As you will read, the nature of white supremacy has always followed a modus operandi that enslaves Blacks for the purpose of profit and control.
The School to Prison Pipeline
Last month, The Atlantic published the following :
“Estimates reported by The New York Times in 2009 indicated that as many as 17,000 sworn police officers were posted in U.S. schools..Schools where at least half of the children are nonwhite.. are home to the highest percentages in the country of K-12-campus law enforcement.”
The prison industrial complex has positioned itself to put our children on the fast track to prison by stationing police in public schools.
There are now over 2 million people living behind bars in the United States. That’s half a million more than China, which has a population five times greater than the U.S.
This is not by accident.
The prison industry has become one of the largest for-profit industries in the United Slaves, capturing and convicting slaves to work for pennies on the dollar.
According to the Left Business Observer, ironically “the federal prison industry produces 100 percent of all military helmets, ammunition belts, bullet-proof vests, ID tags, shirts, pants, tents, bags, and canteens. Along with war supplies, prison workers supply 98 percent of the entire market for equipment assembly services; 93 percent of paints and paintbrushes; and 92 percent of stove assembly.
The United States of America was built on slavery. Today, the country has gone back to its old ways by targeting the most vulnerable members of our Black community – our children.
The War on Black
It seems as if we are the only ones who dont realize that we are at war.
Emmit Till was 14 when he was lynched in 1955.
Before him 14-year-old George Stinney Jr. boy was sentenced to death in 1944 for the murder of two white girls in a segregated mill town in South Carolina, in a trial that lasted less than three hours and reportedly bore no evidence and barely any witness testimonies. Executioners noted that he was too small for the electric chair when he died; the straps did not fit him, an electrode was too big for his leg, and the boy had to sit on a bible to fit properly in the chair.
On September 15, 1963, a bomb blast set by the Ku Klux Klan ripped through a church taking the life of 4 Black girls attending Bible Study.
In 1973, A Black man and his stepson were confronted by plainclothes officer Thomas Shea. Believing they were the victims of a stickup, both turned and ran. Shea shot and killed 10 year old Clifford Glover- a fourth-grader at PS 40 who had been shot in the back. Thomas Shea could be heard yelling “You black son of a bitches!” and was recorded on walkie-talkie transmissions saying “Die, you little bastard,” Scott was overheard saying. One of the cops added a victory whoop: “The good guys won!”
Cops would later claim young Glover pointed a pistol at them as he ran away. Hundreds of cops searched for the mystery gun but found nothing.
The war on our Black men, women, and even children is not new. Unfortunately, neither is our reaction. We continue to pray for our enemies, participate in our own oppression, and ignore the facts.
With knowledge comes responsibility. How many more of our babies will be aborted, how many more of our students will be prosecuted, and how many more of our men, women, and children will be killed in the streets before take responsibility for our participation in this system?
When will you realize that they will take your life by force, rob you of everything you have ever had, throw your bodies away, and justify it all as being your fault. This is how your enemy has behaved for centuries. They wont change now. We must.

We can march, protest, and tweet into eternity, but until we stop participating in our own oppression, work to starve the system that feeds on us, and have enough sense to begin to create our own systems, this will happen again.
